Courtné Matthews, a wife, mother of two humans and three fur babies—has always enjoyed creative writing. She has found joy in writing funny stories with her family, who also share a love for writing. Courtné and her mother, Kelly, have always been very close, and she credits her drive and entrepreneurial spirit to her mother. They continue to share a strong bond. It is a dream come true for Courtné to co-author her first children's book, "The Whole Hand", which is based on true events with her mother, Kelly. Courtné hopes that anyone who reads her books will feel seen and represented.

Kelly Rayburn, a mother of three, has always had a special bond and closeness with her children. Since becoming a grandmother, she’s found herself reliving and sharing special stories of her children and their lives with her grandchildren, both real and fictional. With an entrepreneurial spirit and the owner of an educational center in the Chicagoland area, she has spent over the past twenty-five years serving youths in some capacity. After embarking on her writing career by co-authoring a book inspired by the true events, "The Whole Hand” with her middle daughter Courtné she has vowed to author more books from the love of her favorite pastime, storytelling.
