Felicia E. Emanuel is a gifted writer, speaker and artist who is passionate about leadership development and prayer. She recently published (April 2015) her first non-fiction book: The Waiting Room, which enlightens and encourages readers to maintain enduring hope in the waiting seasons. Felicia loves using her gifts and abilities to help others mature in their faith and become all God purposed them to be. She has over twenty years of leadership experience and has been called by God to inspire people to walk in integrity, humility, grace, faith, and love.

Felicia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from Governors State University. She has had a diverse professional career in Television Production, Project Management and Administration. Felicia has held a variety of ministry roles including, but not limited to planning, implementing, and administering leadership initiatives, bible study, youth ministry, intercessory prayer and praise & worship.  Felicia is an advocate for Christian education and has served on the board of a private Christian Academy. When not writing books, Felicia loves to write and record original songs. She dreams of writing, producing and acting in an original movie. Felicia is married, has two amazing teenage sons and lives in the suburbs of Chicago.
