About the author
Spicee is a strong, independent single mother who fought to overcome emotional scars of abuse at the hands of those she felt would love her for the woman she’s become. Abuse to her is not just physical, but also verbal and mental, which traumatizes anyone and gives the same effect. Spicee escaped from thirteen years of marriage to her ex-husband and another seven years with her youngest child’s dad. In both relationships, she experienced traumatizing abuse which kept her from knowing the true meaning of love. The one day came where she finally allowed herself to break walls and open her heart towards both loving and being loved, but surprisingly she came to the fork in the road, resulting in her being in love all by herself once again. Trust that no one knew, not even Spicee herself, that she possessed— through the scars gained from storms in her life— the one key to acquire strength to fight fear and to stop hiding behind walls of control.
