Overview

The young adults of today are incredibly talented. Raised in an age of exponential access to information and countless life options, the largest group of young people to ever reach adulthood is about to take the stage. But with more options and opportunities available to them than ever before, why is there such a paralysis of decision-making and such a maturity crisis amongst our young people today?

Description

The young adults of today are incredibly talented. Raised in an age of exponential access to information and countless life options, the largest group of young people to ever reach adulthood is about to take the stage. But with more options and opportunities available to them than ever before, why is there such a paralysis of decision-making and such a maturity crisis amongst our young people today? As dads and moms, pastors, teachers, and leaders of young people, we must learn how to enter into relationships with this generation. If “tinkering” indicates an absence of commitment, then helping teens discover purposes they can commit to and become excited about is key to drawing them into a life of being and doing the extraordinary. Pastor Chris Loncar will inspire you to lead a generation that doesn't know what to do—not through control and manipulation, but through love and motivation. You will learn how to be relevant without having to be ”cool,” how to challenge teens to a life of commitment, and how to love them in a way that produces identity. Chapter titles include: • Little Big Problems • Elephant Strength • The Myth of Relevance • The 2,000 Year Old Teenager • The Tinkering Generation "What to do with a generation that doesn’t know what to do.”
