The Three Skaters

The Three Skaters is a children's Christmas story about the joy you feel from giving unconditionally. It’s about three families who offer all they have to give to a family of refugees. I discovered this story years ago when I was reading to my children. They liked the story very much and thought that it would make a terrific bedtime story. So I adapted it into a 34 page, hard cover book with 18 full color illustrations. The story is set in the 19th century Holland. I painted the illustrations in oil on wooden panels in a van Gogh style. I hope this book will become a part of many family's traditions..

Paul Federico is artist and graphic designer who lives in New Jersey. Paul earned his BFA from Parsons School of Design. He likes to paint outside, play guitar, skateboard, and go to the beach. Paul is an active member of his church and believes love is the answer.
