About the author
Loye A Barefoot Papa was one of ten children born to a minister and sharecropper. His mom was a full time mother to the six boys and four girls. He grew up in the country about ten miles from town. Loye's education consists of Walker Country High School in Jasper, Alabama, Walker Junior College with an AA degree, a BA degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, and the Kentucky School of Banking, the Banking School of the South (LSU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Loye has two daughters and two granddaughters. Most of the stories he writes are the very same ones he told them when they were young. May you enjoy the stories as much as the author did telling them. No monsters or villains will ever appear in Loye's books.
