Overview
The Suicide Journal: A Journey through Facts to Understanding reflects the author's personal journey that combines facts, resources and the feelings of survivors with journaling to better understand suicide. Survivors are those who have lived beyond their own suicidal ideation, those who have lost someone to suicide, someone who has a loved one who suffers with suicidal thoughts and those that suffer with these thoughts themselves. The goals of the book are to provide an outlet for the reader to journal their feelings, for them to learn little-known facts about suicide, to provide a substantial number of resources and to aid in the readers' understanding of what those who have taken their own life might have been going through. Though this is not a solution manual, as the author is sharing her journey and not her expertise. This book is a journey beyond confusion, through facts, to a better understanding of suicide.
