Overview
Description
The book follows two detectives through a series of four interconnected cases, starting with what seems like a standard-issue haunted house in upstate New York that quickly turns into an encounter with the followers of Sugob, one of the cheapest, and hence one of the most dangerous, occult deities with whom one will ever have occasion to deal. After being framed for murder in the second case, and almost drowned in the Gulf Of Mexico by contract killers in the third, our protagonists take matters into their own hands in the fourth and final case, resulting in a dramatic showdown on the roof deck of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, involving Little Richard paperweights, a fake ficus tree, and an Elvis statuette.
