There is also the man who returns to fishing after a twenty year hiatus under the watchful eye of a stray cat and the private in the Viet Nam war who receives an unexpected penalty after slacking on guard duty.

About The Author


Stefanie Fife is a professional cellist in Los Angeles where she has recorded for television and movie scores such as “Up,” “Moneyball,” and “Lost,” and artists including Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, and Elton John. As a composer, she written and produced two award winning children's albums, "Ride 'n' Sing Along" (winner of Parents' Choice Silver Medal, and NAPPA Honors) and "Lullabies & Fireflies," which won a NAPPA Honors award. Her humorous essays have been published in Skirt! Magazine. This is her first short story collection.
