If you are new to activism, the StreetSmarts Manual has what you need to get started. If you are a seasoned pro, we have 140 pages of helpful tips, useful tools, and powerful organizational models. Whether you are an individual looking for a way to make a difference or a leader of a group looking to take things to the next level, the StreetSmarts Manual has what you need. Four leadership handbooks. Twelve operational field guides. All the tools and tips you need to build a group, expand your group, and connect with other activists for maximum effectiveness. The power is in your hands.
Description
When AnyStreet launched in 2008, conservative activism was comparatively limited. There were some independent local groups, of course, and many committed conservative activists. But outside of the structure of the Republican Party, conservative ground-game activism was not very common. Now, of course, all that has changed. The tea party movement exploded onto the scene in early 2009. By September, conservatives had staged the largest peaceful protest in American history in Washington, D.C. By November of 2010, our movement fueled the largest Republican sweep of Congress and state legislatures in a century. During that time, AnyStreet issued the StreetSmarts™ manual to activists, to help them form effective AnyStreet groups. Now, we have repurposed that manual to serve the broader movement. Whether you are an individual activist looking to make a difference in your community or a member of a group that wants to take things to the next level, the new StreetSmarts™ manual can help make that happen. Conservative activism has indeed blossomed across the land. But there is so much work that remains to be done, and there are so many ways that all of us can make our individual and group operations a lot more effective. In these pages, you will find the tools you need to take things to the next level.
