The Steroid Caper

Andogenic steroids, originally popularized by body builders, are now in vogue among male and female students eager to bulk up, or improve their body image. Steroids are illegal, and can cause severe psychiatric and medical side effects. When Bronco, the star high school fullback, suddenly drops dead in the end zone, the energetic school newspaper team(Emma, Max, Arnie) become deeply involved in search of the true cause of Bronco's death. A greedy coach, dishonest doctor, gangsters, gambling, a murder, an elusive drug czar, and a near tragedy for the heroine, Emma, keep the story moving at an exciting pace.
