The Starlight Bar and Grill pt. 1 is about the McWilliams brothers abd their efforts to get their father's restaurant, The Starlight Bar and Grill, up and running again, after their father's death. In the process, a woman, Stephanie Marsh, Carl Jr.s girlfriend, is pushed first to work in the office and then, to fall in love with the younger brother, Scottie, as a way for Carl to make up for ruining his relationship with his high school sweetheart, Elaine Powers.

Joe A. Crawford is the author of Rock n' Roll Supernova, Peering Through the Reality Window and as J.C. Stevens, The Killing Game. He lives and woirks in Laramie, Wy and his interests are rock n' roll music, playing the drums, collecting comics and watching movies. The Starlight Bar anbd Grill is the beginning of a much longer work, set to be released in the summer of 2012.
