The Sign of the New Covenant

This book will help readers see that the Holy Spirit has provided everything the Church needs to fulfill its mandate.

In the beginning of time, God placed a man with a mandate on Earth. That mandate included the purpose and the authority to accomplish what God wanted. "Rule, subdue, and reign over all of creation." We know the first man, Adam, failed. For a moment, all seemed lost. Jesus, as the last Adam, came with the same mandate. He ruled over powers and principalities after he was empowered by the Holy Spirit. When he left, he gave the disciples the same mandate. "Go and make disciples of all the nations." He knew that they would need the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit to fulfill their mission. "I will not leave you as orphans, I will pray to my Father and ask Him to send you the Holy Spirit." The Holy Spirit came and has the authority and power to accomplish the purpose of God through his church. This time, it's not happening through one man, but through all the men and women that allow the Holy Spirit to empower them. We know that we win in the end. Rewards are promised to those who are faithful and become more than overcomers. This book will help you see what God provided for the church through the empowering of the Holy Spirit. We have no excuse to fail. There is no mediocracy in the kingdom of God. Are you ready to sign up and be part of an advancing kingdom to bring hope to a dying world? We are called to become co-laborers with Christ. He is doing it through the Holy Spirit, and we are blessed to be part of his mandate on the earth.

Deon Vanstaden was born in South Africa and felt the calling to ministry at a very young age. After completing seminary in 1986 with the Full Gospel Church of God, Deon was involved with a ministry called "Word In Action" that reached thousands of men and women with the good news of salvation. He ministered at both men's and women's retreats and saw many people come to salvation. He was also involved with the training of small group leaders so that they could do the discipleship and follow-up of the new converts and help them grow by encouraging them in their gifting. In 1999, they felt the call from God to move to the States and then became Associate Pastor of a church in Jacksonville, Florida. After two years, the Senior Pastor retired, and Deon took over the ministry as Senior Pastor for the next ten years. During that time, he started a School of Supernatural ministry that focused on discipleship. He also wrote study manuals on Healing, The Kingdom, and The Gifts of the Spirit. He has always had a passion for teaching the Word. He helped to train missionaries and helped to start a missionary training school with Kingdom Sending Center, a church in Chicago. They were also coaches with Adventures in Missions and The World Race. He managed a team of Coaches for young people that traveled to eleven countries in eleven months, where they mentored, led, motivated, and encouraged these young people as they pursue their dreams in the Kingdom of God. Deon and Rynette have been married for 36 years, and Rynette has been a great support in ministry. They have one daughter that is married to Josh Conte, and they live close to them in Atlanta. Deon has the vision to train Pastors all over the world and teach the word to people that are hungry for a fresh revelation of the Kingdom of God and who they are in Christ!
