The Scary Monster

This is an illustrated story about a monster who frightened people until he changed his ways and became friends with everyone. It appeals to children aged 3 to 6 as well as to parents.

This is an story about a monster who frightens people until one day he is forced to change his ways and then become friends with everyone. The monster was inspired by a drawing that my grandson Thomas did when he was 4 years old.

Bill is an enthusiastic grandfather who is very involved with his grandson Thomas and all the things that interest Thomas. The Scary Monster is his first illustrated children’s book and was inspired by a drawing of a monster that Thomas did when he was four years old. Bill and Thomas discussed likely adventures involving the monster and from that Bill drew up various monsters based on Thomas’ drawing and evolved the story that became this book. Bill has now written a second story involving the monster which he is in the process of illustrating.
