About the author
Keith Adrian McCrary was born in Charleston, South Carolina on March 25, 1975. Keith was raised in Horsham, Pennsylvania and attended Hatboro-Horsham High School where he graduated in 1993. After receiving his Associates Degree in General Studies from Montgomery County Community College, Keith went on to attend Kutztown University. Under the fantastic faculty in the Geography Department at Kutztown University, Keith received a breadth of knowledge of Geography, GIS, cartography, environmental studies, and research methods. After graduating with a BA in Geography in 2001, Keith went on to further his knowledge at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. At West Chester, Keith mentored under Dr. Joan Welch and focused in applications of GIS, field studies, and research methods where he wrote his Master's Thesis "The Role of Riparian Buffers in Water Quality Improvement". Mr. McCrary graduated with a Master of Arts in Geography in 2005 and currently works as a federal government contractor in Washington DC.
