Inspired by personal experiences and from others, the author touches on the stages of love, heart-break and even touches on loss in her writings. The author resides in south Florida and gets a lot of inspiration for writing from the beach. The author finds healing from difficult times in her life by expressing feelings in the form of poetry and becoming closer with nature. The cover art, illustrations, and photographs were by the author as well, with help from her mom for some of the photographs.
