The Record

Follow Wyatt Eckstein along his journey to set his high school's record for hits in a season. Important conversations with his friends and family aid him as he encounters obstacles along the way during his pursuit of the record. As he closes in on history, Wyatt realizes maybe his final season of high school baseball wasn't ever about setting the record. Maybe it was about something else entirely. Perhaps it was about something lifechanging.

After a hot start to his senior baseball season, Wyatt Eckstein finds that he has a chance to set his school record for hits in a season. However, his pursuit of the record proves to be a bumpy ride. Every time he hits a speed bump, Wyatt has an interaction with someone close to him. Eventually, through all of these conversations, he realizes his journey was never about setting a record, but about something far more important. Something much more meaningful. Something lifechanging.
