Overview

Against all odds, 2,000 years ago, 12 men turned the world upside down by dedicating themselves to these two spiritual disciplines: prayer and the ministry of the Word.

You can do the same and this book shows you how.

In Part One, you will discover that every word of the Lord's Prayer is a seed; every phrase is filled with wisdom, revelation and the power to change your life and the lives of those you love forever! You might even be surprised to learn that Jesus Christ is the Lord’s Prayer personified.

Part Two will show you what the ministry of the Word is and how it can work powerfully in your life and ministry.

This book is ideal for sermon preparation, Sunday school lessons, Bible studies, small groups, youth pastors and family devotions.

Description

Against all odds, 2,000 years ago, 12 men turned the world upside down by dedicating themselves to these two spiritual disciplines: prayer and the ministry of the Word. They did so even though the Roman Empire did everything in its power to stop Christianity from spreading, including feeding Christians to the lions!

That same power that 12 men had is available to you through prayer and ministry of the word, just by asking. This book shows you how.

Part One walks you through the Lord’s Prayer (so-called), which anyone can recite in less than 30 seconds, but no one can master it—not in a thousand lifetimes. Every word is a seed; every phrase is filled with wisdom, revelation and the power to change your life and the lives of those you love forever! You might be surprised to learn that Jesus Christ is the Lord’s Prayer personified.

Part Two answers the question, “What is the ministry of the Word and how does it work?” You will discover the Word of God is like: Bread, a sword, light, fire, water, seed, milk, meat, a hammer, a mirror and gold and silver. Each illustration (found in the Bible) helps the reader understand how the Living Word of God changes lives. God’s power has never diminished.

This book is ideal for sermon preparation, Sunday school lessons, Bible studies, small groups, youth pastors and family devotions.
