Overview
Faerie goes to war to save the dwarf pink pixies from extinction. It has chosen a very unusual but charismatic king and wins the war with truth.
Description
Bill Smith and his girlfriend were simply college students until Bill is recruited by Santa Claus to fight for Faerie. The last of the dwarf pink pixies are endangered by habitat destruction. For Faerie this was the last straw. Faerie goes to war with the US government with an army consisting of a host of mythological creatures and an unlikely cast of humans. Among the creatures are gnomes and Marxist dwarves who try to improve their poor self-image by reciting famous quotations and poems. The fairies have chosen a very unusual and charismatic king, who a malevolent doppelganger is trying to assassinate. During their adventures the characters learn about history, economics, politics, pop culture, religion, philosophy, and much more. In the end Faerie is victorious by using truth in a surprising way.
