Is murder ever justified? The ladies of the Outreach Committee say: "Yes." In L.A.’s South Bay, the Battered Women’s Escape Foundation (BWEF) shelters, counsels, and trains abused women so that they can start new lives. However, one group cannot take advantage of this haven: women of means, whose influential husbands can unearth any shelter with a single phone call. Mora Rey and Carol Ewald form the Outreach Committee to rid these women of their abusive spouses by creating “accidents” to dispatch them. But when they learn that the BWEF’s newest benefactor is an abuser himself, will they tread too far into dangerous waters?
