About the author
Four of the the five Childs children assembled their father's writings, many photographs and their own commentary into this book reflecting the musings of Maurice Childs Sr., a man writing in the mid 20th century (1889-1974), who habitually typed his thoughts almost every day. A labor of love over 14 years, Maurice Childs' children, geographically separated, spent time together in many locations from 2002 to 2017. They included Lois Meyer, June Richardson, Maurice Childs Jr. and Susan Matheson. Their eldest sister, Florence Dein, was never involved as she had passed away in 1963. The book finally went to print in 2017. Susan Matheson , the youngest of the children, is now the primary contact.
