About the author

David Andrew Wiebe started taking interest in music at the age of 14, and spent much of his free time in both Jr. High and High School writing lyrics. At age 15, he performed a rap in front of an audience for the first time and learned the thrill of performance. When he was 17, he started learning the guitar, and quickly became known for his fast developing ability. In ensuing years, he would go on to start a home studio, play in a variety of different bands, and embark on a teaching career. He would also work as a freelance graphic and web designer, online marketer and blogger on the side. In 2005, his band, Lightly Toasted Touché released their first EP, A Tale of the Coming Together and Murder of My Heart in the Golden State. In 2006, Wiebe released his first solo album entitled Shipwrecked... My Sentiments, which showed considerable promise, but would undermine his growth as a singer, songwriter and guitarist in a manner of two to three years. With Angels Breaking Silence, he played guitar on "Boxes", a track that appeared on the Unified by Grace Midwest Rock Volume No. 0002 compilation. In 2011, he appeared on The Active Light's "The Dark Has Had Its Day" as a guest guitarist. In 2012, he played lead guitar and mandolin on Jonathan Ferguson's Sweeter After Difficulties. He also co-produced, mixed, mastered and engineered Andrew Riches' solo debut album, 12 String Monster the same year. Wiebe founded The Music Entrepreneur in 2009, and continues to publish new insights into the music industry on a weekly basis.
