The Mirror: A Biker's Story

Skuldmen prospect Michael Beckman finds himself boxed into a situation from which there is no escape.

About The Book Michael Beckman is a virulent racist, bigot and Holocaust denier; he is also a prospect for the notorious Skuldmen motorcycle club in Wisconsin. When he learns that his wife is having an affair, Beckman is livid after discovering the man his wife ran off with is African American. After inheriting his elderly aunt's home and all of her worldly possessions, in her attic he finds Nazi treasure and an ancient mirror hidden since World War II. Carved in the wood frame at the top of the mirror are the mysterious words Das Portal. It is not long before Beckman discovers that The Mirror is a gateway to another world. Chased by members of the Skuldmen who want to do him severe bodily harm, and cornered by police investigating the apparent murder and disappearance of his wife and her lover, Michael soon finds himself boxed into a situation from which there is no escape. As a last resort, he turns to The Mirror for salvation.

Edward Winterhalder is an American author who has written more than twenty-five books about motorcycle clubs and outlaw biker culture published in the English, French, German and Spanish languages; a television producer who has created programs about motorcycle clubs and the outlaw biker lifestyle for networks and broadcasters worldwide; a singer, songwriter, musician and record producer; and screenwriter. A prominent member of the Bandidos motorcycle club from 1997 to 2003 and associate from 1979 to 1996, he was instrumental is expanding the organization worldwide and assigned to coordinate the assimilation of the Rock Machine into the Bandidos during the Quebec Biker War—a conflict that cost more than one-hundred sixty people their lives.
