Description
"The Magic Cleats" shares the inspirational true story of Hannah Dukeman and Emma Eubank, the first college athletes in the country to use their name, image and likeness (NIL) to design #CURECANCER cleats to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research. In reading this book, children will learn core values from Hannah and Emma that helped them become successful college student athletes, as well as support families who have been impacted by cancer.
Ultimately, the magic of the cleats is the impact that Hannah and Emma's story will have on others. As you will learn in the book, this is a story that has no end. With every purchase of this book, you get to pay it forward, as portions of the proceeds will benefit cancer research and support #MissionE50, an initiative to increase the popularity of women's sports.
While the story is intended to be read to young children, the book includes an additional "bonus" section to inspire older children, teens, and adults. The bonus section shares the short stories from other high school and college athletes who have used their name image and likeness to raise awareness and funds for nonprofits and community events. While many athletes will make money using their name, image and likeness, Pliable athletes are carefully selected because of their strong personal values and character. Each athlete is educated and empowered for success during and after their playing career. To date, Pliable athletes in this book and others have raised more than $20,000 for nonprofits and community events.
If your child is looking for a positive role model and an athlete to look up to, please encourage them to check out the growing list of Pliable athletes.
