About The Author

Scott Metcalf had a long military career beginning in 1967 until retirement in1997. Scott began his career in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War as an Artillery Scout Observer after the Marine Corps tour of duty Scott Enlisted in the Michigan Air National Guard and joined the 127th Communications Flight as a basic teletype operator, rising through the ranks Scott became the Communications Superintendent for the flight, he took on additional duties as the 127th TFW COMSEC NCO. after serving nearly 20 years Scott was selected as the 4th Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Michigan Air National Guard. Scott joined the MCRT in 2015 and becoming the Commander in 2017
