About the author
Max Ray is a native of Tampa in the wonderland that is the State of Florida and has resided there all of his 85 years. He has been a practicing veterinarian in Tampa since 1958, holding degrees from the University of Florida and Auburn University. Max has spent a lifetime devoted to the health and medical needs of animals, especially the cat, dog and horse, including a study of the special relationship these valued pets have with people. Max is an experienced hunter, diver, fisherman and avid observer and admirer of nature in all of its facets. He resides in Odessa, Florida with his wife, Marie.
