THE LIFE OF LOUIS H. GREEN, MD is about my grandfather's journey through the hardships and joys of his American Dream. He inspired me to work hard, be honest and humble. He loved telling stories of people who he had met along his journey, and many of those people lived with him in his assisted living community. I enjoyed dining with his neighbors the last few years of his life. The stories they shared were remarkable. My grandfather lived a good life and will be missed.

He was a dedicated son, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He inspired many people to live their lives with joy and love. He became a surgeon during WWII, so he could stay out of active battle. He loved playing piano, tennis and golf. He told stories of people he met throughout his lifetime. His last few years, he lived with many of those people at his assisted living community. He enjoyed playing the piano for them once a month and was delighted when his family members were in the audience. We will all miss his "perfect pitch."
