About The Author

Born in 1906, Kenneth E. Paris was eye-witness to history throughout the 20th century. His early life of hard-ship instilled a work ethic like none other, which gives his record of rural, 20th century history a unique focus. Kenneth was a family man whose provision for his family was always foremost in his business pursuits. His quiet countenance was personified in the affectionate title held by his grandchildren as Papa. We allow his own words to bear witness to his biography and his life. While reading this memoir, know this, Kenneth E. Paris was an honest man. The publication of this book is a tribute to this quiet, contemplative businessman of 20th century rural Texas, Kenneth Earl Paris.
