Overview
Three young people strike out in an old car into the deep desert on a soul-searching roadtrip. Lost and nearly out of gas, their car becomes disabled after a freak encounter with an Acme rocket. Forced to forge ahead on foot in the night to get help, the trio sneaks onto a top-secret airbase commanded by a tortured and legendary officer. The group witnesses a spectacular incident between a famous determined coyote and a speedy roadrunner. They realize that the two are not the cartoon characters that they (and everyone else) had thought for decades were - but are in fact real in every sense. The trio are detained on the base and make a few good friends along the way. They also become aware of a brilliant race of human-like creatures and a secretive tribe of native warriors who live far out in the vast regions of the expansive base. However, trouble is on the horizon. A powerful and angry man wrongfully bent on a terrible revenge gains entry to the base and unleashes a vast private army upon the innocent creatures who are unprepared for war. The invasion army wreaks death and destruction upon the beings whose choices become to either fight, run or hide... or all three. Willie accomplishes his lifetime goal and then questions the harm he has inflicted. At the height of the battle, Willie Coyote unleashes upon the enemy the most diabolical machine he has ever constructed. His goal then becomes the most important one in his entire life - an attempt to save the most precious friend he never realized he even had.

After they sneak their way onto a beyond top secret airbase commanded by a kind but tortured legendary officer, they witness a violent and yet entertaining event involving real-life versions of one unlucky coyote and a speedy roadrunner... carefully hidden and protected characters that the trio (and everyone else) had previously thought only existed in cartoon-land a half-century before... only this is no cartoon. It is a stark reality. Detained as honored guests on the crumbling base, our young band of heroes make a few friends along the way and discover that besides Willie Coyote and The Roadrunner, a brilliant human-like race and a highly-secretive ancient tribe of warriors also exist out in the far regions of the vast expanses of the doomed base... all of whom would be destroyed if discovered by the outside world. Unfortunately, the word is already out about this collapsing house of cards and a disaster is in the making. At the most crucial point in an epic battle between the forces of good and evil, Willie accomplishes his lifetime goal and then questions it. And he realizes something else along the way... maybe it was never really just hunger that drove him to relentlessly pursue the Roadrunner. The time comes for Willie to make things right for his people, his friends and an innocent bird. He unleashes the most diabolical invention he has ever constructed upon the merciless invaders. He is then leftt with only one last goal and mission... to save the one and only true friend that he never knew he even ever had.
