The goal of this project is to preserve the history of the San Fernando Valley Japanese American Community Center and to honor the founders whose vision and legacy continues today.


About the author

Emily Woo is a medical magnet high school student. Her book, "San Fernando Valley Japanese American Community Center: The Journey to a New Beginning," is her first book. She is active in her local Asian American community and resides with her family in Los Angeles.
