Overview
Writer Dan Furst searches out a group of immortals living among us, who have the ability to heal anyone they touch. While searching, Dan and his companions encounter demons, angels and a curious oriental gangster named Khan. Their adventures send them chasing across the globe and into a battle in the spiritual realm.
Description
Dan Furst has researched and written many books in his career. While researching his latest book he comes across some old writings referring to a group of people who, having been touched and healed by Christ, have somehow gained immortality here on earth. They are called "The Intactilis", Latin for "those who cannot be touched", as they cannot be "touched" by old age, disease etc. They live among society doing good where they can by healing others but they must live in secrecy for there are those who would like to see them destroyed. Dan has an encounter in a library with a spirit being who explains many things about the spiritual world to him but also warns him that his quest is dangerous. Dan enlists the aid of his old friend Reverend Allen Garrison and together they encounter murder, demon possession, underground cities, treasure, gangsters, romance, ancient Aztec ruins and battle in the spiritual realm while roaming the globe from China, Chicago to Jerusalem to Mexico City. Their adventures culminate in a battle between demons and angels that may set the stage for the final battle of all time-Armageddon!
