Cambraia Fonseca Fernandes is a journalist (Faculdade Estácio de Sá–Rio de Janeiro), illustrator, and graphic designer (School of Visual Arts–NYC) and book publisher (New York University–NYC). She's worked for several publishers in New York City: Modern Publishing, Chelsea House Publishers, Scholastic, and W. H. Freeman / Macmillan (books on genetics, astronomy, mathematics, physics, statistics, and other genres). She was awarded at the book show in New York as a book and cover designer. (An Introduction to Genetic Analysis, 7th Edition.) At the age of 12, she read her first science fiction book and thus discovered the magical world of adults, where dreams and creativity lead people to think about all the possibilities they have in this wonderful universe, where good and evil mix continuously.
