The story begins in a confessional booth as private detective Tom "Sully" Sullivan makes his confession. Quickly losing blood from a bullet in his side, Sully tells his story, confessing to the murder he has just committed and revealing the identity of the person who may have murdered him… Sully is hired by Sam Collier, a rich and powerful man, to find the young surrogate mother carrying the heir to his vast fortune. About The Author

Author William James Royce has enjoyed a successful career writing for both stage and screen. He began his professional career as a stand-up comedian in the San Francisco Bay Area. When the local Santa Cruz paper labeled him "the collegiate George Carlin" he knew it was time to retire. "The collegiate George Carlin? Why go on? The best I could hope for is the geriatric George Carlin." His first play as Writer/Director was the romantic comedy, A Fine Romance. In 2004, Royce moved with his wife and two year-old daughter to Villa Page, a 200 year old home on the banks of the Dordogne River in a small village in South-West France. The mere thought of third grade homework in French brought them racing home in 2010! The family's attempt to leave Hollywood behind, explore a new culture, and experience a simpler way of life can be read in their forthcoming book, Bonjour Villa Page & Good-bye ~ A He Said/She Said Memoir.
