This two part book features rhyming and alliteration in a playful manner to get kids excited about early literacy skills. I was originally only going to publish the first book, but then one night the sequel poured out of me. So, I decided to combine them into one printing to save myself some publishing money. It also saves you money, as the cost of two individual books would be more than this two in one format!  I am only hoping to make back the cost of my investment. Description

The Imaginary Teacher was born in the fall of 2019 as a "call back" for when my students were off task. I said "Imaginary Teacher," and they said "You're Fired." It became a way to anonymously redirect off-task or impulsive behavior. It normalized making mistakes and created joy. I hope she brings you joy too!

About The Author

Emilie McClure is a teacher of primary-aged children in the Milwaukee area. She enjoys visiting zoos in other states with her husband and son. She loves to knit, read, garden, and walk her dogs. She is also a part-time florist at locally owned grocery chain. The people in this book are named after her friends, family, students, and influential educators in her life (except Sage, that just rhymes with stage).
