The Hourglass Treasures

The book is about two friends, a boy and a girl who loved to explore by the sea and found a boulder with an hourglass marking that led them to the discovery of pirate treasures. It has to do with a friendship which evolved into a deep love for each other while in the face of danger and discovery of long lost treasures. The book also deals with North American Pirates and the dangerous life of a captain and his love for the fiery redhead pirate. Last but not least, there is the adorable dog Gigi who's vivacious nature led her to many mischievous and amusing situations.

Jamie and Emily's friendship changed the day they found a strange marking on a boulder on the cliff overlooking the sea. Their curiosity led them to present and past dangers in the company of their dog Gigi who's vivacious and mischivious nature led them to the discovery of long lost treasures. The book deals with young love,adventure, danger and discovery of treasures and pirates and the love they had for each other. The characters mature and so does the story, when the new family of four and their loving dogs go on more adventures in the sea. At the same time there's the story of a Pirate Captain and his crimes on the high seas and the love for the fiery redheaded Anne whose ruthless determination will not stop her from getting whatever her heart desires.

Teddy Garcia escaped from his native Cuba and has lived through two revolutions and two tours in Vietnam. He loves anything having to do with the sea. He's a physician living in florida, has a daughter who's a dentist and loves to take his dog Gigi for long rides in his convertible.
