The Highlights Notebook of the Holy Bible is for two kinds of people. For those who have a working knowledge of the Bible and want to bring back to their mind, all the stories, people, and places of the greatest book ever read. The next group of people who will enjoy this book are those who have little to no knowledge of the Bible, and if that's you, you will get a crash course and be brought up to speed on your beginning faith walk.
In preparing yourself for reading the Highlights Notebook of the Holy Bible, you must always keep in mind that by no means are you reading anything other than the words of a man and his attempt to give a brief synopsis of the greatest book ever penned. The real intent of this notebook work is to try and give the beginning Bible student a method of keeping the major events of the Bible fresh. The whole purpose in creating this mammoth project is to let anyone who wants to be a serious Bible student, a chance to have a quick "highlights" guide at his or her fingertips. In other words, it's a quick, fast food, crash course on recalling major events, stories, and names of the entire Bible. In just a week or two, any basic reader can walk away fully briefed on all the mainline information of the great Holy Bible.
About the author
Hello, my name is Brother Steven C. Millhorn of Expounder Ministries. I was born and raised on the buckle of the Bible belt, known as Dallas Texas. I was reared to love my parents, family, and church very much, but in the course of time, I forsook the God of my fathers and ran headlong after women, alcohol, gambling, and disco dancing. Through the power of my family's prayers and those of my beloved "Church on the Rock" (80's Larry Lea)(90’s Jerry Howell)(2000’s John Bragdon), this former Gentile dog turned from the pleasures of Satan unto the glorious life of God in 1985. I am an ordained minister of Jesus Christ through Law of Liberty Ministries of Buffalo Texas, and have studied under all that Christian television, radio, and my beloved Pastors have taught. I have spent hundreds of hours in Bible study, singing to God, prayer, and believe myself to be a zealot for God. I depend wholly upon the risen Son of God. With all my heart, I trust in God, His Holy Word, and the indwelling Holy Spirit for all of life's needs. I fully understand that those who teach God's word or Speak His Scriptures are held to a higher standard of judgment, and I fear God with all my heart.
