Al Carden is presently serving as a hospice chaplain. For over forty years he has served as a minister of music, hospital chaplain, chemical dependency and psychiatric chaplain, pastoral counselor, and clinical pastoral education supervisor and educator. As he nears retirement, his ongoing mission of helping others by allowing the emotional building of bridges for the purpose of inviting the distressed to cross over exiting their emotional and physical pain to experience peace and healing through his poetry is the new vision.
