About the author

Christy Carmichael (author) - Christy is a high school media specialist in Maryland. This is her first children's book based on a story she told her children when they were young. She has always enjoyed poetry and her love of this genre inspired her to tell the story in rhyming form. Christy has teamed up with her oldest daughter Amanda, a talented artist, who illustrated every page of this children's book using mixed media.
