The Green Flag Murder

Veteran gymnastics meet director Hector Simple is found dead under the balance beam after a power outage. A group of judges must not only help find the murderer, but also deflect blame on one of their own.

Veteran gymnastics judge Miri Gherkin returns to a winter-weary Parkville in this sequel to The Code of Moons. After only a few weeks of helping her friends Sally Brucciani, Debby Sayer and Cindy Chung improve the unprofessional judging climate, a meet director is found dead under the balance beam. Miri must look beyond the obvious causes of death to suspect murder – and she realizes that the murderer could be one of the judges.

Veteran gymnastics judge Barbara Jo Tebben adds The Green Flag Murder, sequel to The Code of Moons, to the pile of slide shows, videos, and cartoons she has created over the last several decades to celebrate the lighter side of judging. She lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
