About the author
Brent grew up on a family farm just north of Lima, Ohio. He learned from his father that if you take really good seeds and plant them at the right depths in really good soil, an amazing harvest is possible. He can't remember one single time he ever wanted to be an author. But for the past three decades, he does wake up each morning with a desire to impact the sales profession one sales leader, one sales team, and one sales person at a time with the practical power and wisdom found in the life of Jesus Christ. The Greatest Sales Question Ever Asked is all about Brent's learnings from his years of study on the questions that came out of the greatest heart of compassion to ever walk the face of the earth, with many stories shared from others who have put this question to work in their own lives. Brent has been coaching someone in something, from Football to Sales to Life since 1984 (and maybe even before). In all that God put into Brent; it all comes out in the form of a Coach. He wants to see people win! He doesn't take losing well, and fights hard to make sure his clients DO NOT get used to it! He doesn't believe God made any losers, and refuses to accept that God's most-favored creation cannot live up to God's expectations with God's help. Everyone loses at something, but it does not have to become a way of life. Brent has helped people win on multiple levels; in Life, in Business, at Home, in Community, etc. He is especially passionate about the plight of the Sales Professional, and has focused his professional life on Coaching Salespeople, Sales Teams, Sales Leaders and Business Owners in the revenue-generating areas of life. He brings over 30 years of experience in sales, sales management, marketing management, sales training, coaching, and consulting to the table, and he loves to see people win! One of his former clients grew from $3.5M to $22M in 4.5 years. Another landed on the INC. 500 list... Twice! Still another doubled its manufacturing business in 10 months, and then had 5 record years in a row. He has been present when business owners have written employee bonus checks they never thought possible. Understanding what they face daily, Brent possesses a deep passion for helping people in the revenue generating business grow, flourish, and pursue excellence. His desire is to see Transformational Impact in the Marketplace. Brent has exhibited strong leadership as an approved Coach with Franklin University's MBA Program, and has served as a Deacon in his church, president of the church board, and as a member of PAGA, The Ohio State University Varsity "O" Football Alumni, Buckeye Student Athlete Support Network, The Eugene D. Smith Leadership Institute, Cedarville University Institute for Student Leadership, and multiple Chambers of Commerce. Brent has invested many years coaching sports at the middle school and high school levels, loves to disciple young men, and is a huge Adoption Advocate. He is married to Kelley Joy, and together they have 14 adult children and a growing crop of grandchildren. They reside on Longhaven Retreat just outside of Lancaster, Ohio
