Valeisha Butterfield-Jones is the Co-Founder of the Women Entertainment Empowerment Network & Author of “The Girlprint.” She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University. Butterfield-Jones began her career as an unpaid intern for music mogul Russell Simmons and worked her way up the ranks to becoming the Vice President of the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network. Butterfield-Jones volunteered for then Senator Barack Obama and worked her way through the ranks to land her dream job as the National Youth Vote Director for President Obama’s reelection campaign.
