Overview

THE FORGIVENESS EFFECT - A Journey of Courage, Hope, Healing and Freedom! -- A True Story

Sometimes to move forward, you have to let go of the past. Even a truly ugly one. In his book, The Forgiveness Effect, Lou Samara shares his story, a quest to uncover and slay the demons of his childhood.

As a small boy, Lou suffered tremendous abuse, but unable to cope or find help, he buried the memories beneath layers of pain, shame and a profound desire to protect others.

As he grew up,  Lou became a husband, father, law enforcement officer and accomplished entrepreneur, but a series of life events shook loose the past, releasing feelings of confusion, guilt and questions without any answers.

What followed was a journey to understand the why’s that bubbled up:  Why did everything feel like his fault? Why did he feel worthless? Why did life seem to be continually against him?

In candid words, Lou Samara shares his story and the impact it made on his marriage and career, and how he was able to overcome - and forgive - those that harmed him. With courage and grit, Lou fought his way from shattered and hopeless to powerful, productive and happy.

Learn the steps Lou took and apply them to your life, harnessing the power of The Forgiveness Effect...

Description

“When I first saw you Lou, quite simply, you were just full of fear and terror. There was also so much anger, and little belief in your ability to heal. But now, despite all that’s been uncovered, forgiveness has opened your heart, and it’s full of joy and happiness!”

Lou Samara thought he was just an ordinary guy, but why did he feel so worthless all the time? Why did he feel it was right that everyone should take advantage, see him as a failure and seek to put him down? How could this be when he’d only recently served as a SWAT officer?

Knowing he needed to get control of his life, Lou began to reach out to friends and mentors who saw his despair, and slowly helped him set out on the road to recovery. He knew the journey was going to be long and tough, but with tremendous perseverance and growing trust in the process, he made changes beyond his wildest expectations.

The answers to all those questions Lou asked of himself are truly shocking, but the outcome is hugely uplifting. The Forgiveness Effect tells the story of how Lou turned his life around and now, with his guidance, you can begin your own journey, finding the right steps to a happy and fulfilled life, knowing the power of forgiveness…
