Description

Sydney Duvall disappears a thousand times a day. He suffers from a rare disorder known as Matheson Syndrome: no one (nearly) can pay attention to him for more than three minutes. With his best friend, Deaf Dave, his dog, Calamity Jones, and his hooker girlfriend, Penny, Sydney Duvall is a perpetually disappearing man trying hard to stay visible and trying even harder to keep from being lynched by the group of militant lesbians that keep holding book burnings on his front lawn. Sydney wrote a book, a scholarly study of an all-female subspecies of Canadian geese. In a fit of drug-induced inspiration, his editor changed the title of the book to The Flight of the Angry Lesbians. Now the man that no one can pay attention to is being chased across the country by angry mobs, the aforementioned lesbians, and hobos with medieval war machines.

About the author

Alexander Weston is an avid outdoorsman, guitarist, and sporadic curler and is located somewhere along the eastern coast of the United States. His comedy-romp, masculine-chick-lit debut novel uses crass humor and wit to point towards deep emotions and modern anxieties that most men would rather jump out of a moving vehicle than discuss.
