About the author
Donald D. Conley Sr. was born July 20, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois and grew up with a sort of fascination towards “The Fast Life”. At the age of 14 the decision was made to relocate to California. Along with his nine siblings; four brothers and six sisters, they first lived in Berkeley, CA for a few months, then later moved to Oakland, where his life would forever change.
Writing has always been his passion, having Co-wrote for the late Tyrone Davis the popular smash hit “If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time” back in 1970, at the age of 19, while on a visit to Chicago to see his cousin Jack Daniels.
After returning to California he collaborated with song writer and former member of “The Moon Glows” Harvey Fuqua who produced the late Sylvester.
