About the author

Jose Bonilla, the author of The Faith In Me, is originally from the Dominican Republic. He migrated to the United States in 1964 and became a New York City resident. He is a survivor of the 9/11 attack and several other close encounters with death. He worked for the famous lawyer Roy Cohn, was an investigator for the Board of Education and currently works in the Health Insurance field. He graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Masters of Science in Social Research. He now resides in Rockland County, NY with his wife of over 25 years and two kids.
