Having been born into the world from drug-addicted parents. A young girl struggles with Love and affection starvation. Placed in foster care with her siblings she endures even more Trauma. Having been put in nine different homes by the time she turns fifteen she is already hooked on drugs and this led to a life of crime that turned into endless visits to jail and finally prison. Turning to the streets of New York almost caused her...., her life.

The struggle to survive the streets with hopes of having a life free of hurt, pain, neglect, and drugs she lives to tell her story.

Lisa Evette Brydson is the Wife of an amazing man and mother of three beautiful children. She has overcome several obstacles in her life. Having been sent to Jail and Prison throughout her adolescence years, she searched to find answers to her life and the meaning. Through prison, writing, and support, she was able to escape the horrors of her childhood and foster care and the trauma that came with being a child of the streets. She has much to offer when heard and uses her words and experiences to influence others going through a life alike or similar to the one she once led. Lisa is pursuing a Degree in Business and has hopes of helping others. Lisa loves music and travel but most of all she loves to help others.
