Dee Dee Cooke and Laura Parker each had begun love of horses with dedication to horse care through working from the "ground up" in barns. From grooming to managing their own or stables/ farms in the New York area, both have been committed to a path of self development and education through study of their individual sport by years of training with well known professionals. Wayne Carroll and Gordon Wright were the core of Dee Dee's initial education. Laura was able to train with years of clinics with Franz Rochowansky and Eicke Von Veltheim . Multiple veterinarians and other highly evolved trainers have continued to influence their lives and understanding.

Dee Dee has been a familiar face on the horse show scene from New York area to Florida, as well as Virginia where she currently resides. Her students have obtained multiple successes in the show arena and her ability to match her students with the "right" horse is one of her many gifts.

Laura furthered her education with her MA from NYU while being on the faculty of Pace University as director of Riding . In 2000 her passion for detail in care and training led to the construction of her own 'sanctuary barn' in Patterson NY, Inner Circle Farm. "...A place where I can offer horses and riders privacy and patience in discovering what they need." She has put together a team of professionals from sports medicine veterinarians to physiotherapist to farriers who willingly communicate with each other about a horse , giving that animal the best chance to heal, advance in Dressage training and be comfortable in that process.
