Overview
God’s ways are not our ways. In His world, humility is the way to honor, giving provides abundance, and death leads us into the fullness of eternal life. He stands today and offers us a paradoxical journey with Him in which the way up is down. The Downward Climb is written to encourage and instruct Christ followers to fully live out this strange and wonderful life.
Description
God’s ways are not our ways. In His world, humility is the way to honor, giving provides abundance, and death leads us into the fullness of eternal life. He stands today and offers us a paradoxical journey with Him in which the way up is down. The Downward Climb is written to encourage and instruct Christ followers to fully live out this strange and wonderful life. In it, you’ll find answers to questions such as: • What does it mean to surrender our lives? • What is the life God offers us as we surrender our own? • How can we live to please God in a world that pushes us in the opposite direction? • These questions and more will begin to be answered. Journey with me into His adventure. Learn to open your eyes to the mountaintop even as you find yourself in the valley. In the kingdom where up is down, it’s a downward climb.
About the author
Tracey is a grateful recipient of God’s goodness and mercy. Having lived with Him since July 1998, and without Him for many years before that, she knows well the profound change that He has brought into her life. Her goal is to glorify Jesus and reveal Him to those with whom He puts her in contact. She received a Master’s degree in social work from Syracuse University in 1997. Since then, she has worked as a counselor and later as a missionary to war torn Kosovo. It was during her time as a missionary that she became pregnant with her firstborn. Tracey currently resides in Jacksonville, FL with her husband Bill, and their two children, Luke and Chloe. When she’s not writing, she’s homeschooling her children and joyfully living on mission with Jesus, doing life together with her family and friends.
