Brandace Thornton is a Richmond, Virginia native. Brandace is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a divorcee with two sons. By profession, she is an Exceptional Education teacher. She was inspired to teach students with disabilities after raising her oldest son who has profound special needs. Brandace has had a love of writing adult and children fiction stories and poems since a child. She is inspired by Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, and Terry McMillan. This book is her debut and she plans to write more books to include both adult and children's fiction books in the very near future.
