The Degreeless Heart Surgeon is a collection of poetry and short stories over the coarse of a young mans journey through life. A man who believes to see life through a microscope. A lens that was molded by living under the same roof as people from all different backgrounds. Such as your artist, hustlers, teacher, cowboys, fishermen, hunters, college degree graduates, pimp, convicted felons, addicts, guitarists, disc jockey, bloods, a Crip, your blue collar workers, single mother, and have lived under the same roof as blacks, whites and Mexicans. These experiences caused a genuine bond to where he formed relationships with these individuals. Hearing these elders open up and share what causes their silent sufferings, hurt, pain and regrets, brought an insight to the human heart and mind. The one common denominator was a lack of love in crucial times of their lives. This caused a deeper love for mankind. A desire to treat people with love and respect. A desire to pour into the hearts of this world. A man wanting to live his life being Christ-like.
This is the cause and the effect that inspired this man to pick up the pen and write. His aim were to spread love that is like good food, for the heart, mind and soul. His way doesn't have to be your way, he is just another window to see through. In the mist of having a positive impact on the hearts around him, he too were fighting battles of his own. With the combination and dropping out of college 4 different times, and operating on the hearts of people, this book, "The Degreeless Heart Surgeon," takes you inside the mind of man who paints his thoughts in the form of words.
